Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa

Cedar Creek, TX

A natural retreat meets recognition

Just outside of Austin, TX, on the banks of the Colorado River, the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa stands as a sprawling 400-acre retreat where luxury meets natural beauty. For a destination defined by its escape from the everyday, the arrival experience is a guest’s first handshake, but for years, legacy infrastructure hindered that handshake.

The challenge

Despite its premier status and amenities, the resort’s parking operations were tethered to the past. An outdated system created a cascade of operational hurdles, with frequent maintenance outages, long exit lines and frustrating intercom delays.

These bottlenecks impacted the guest experience and burdened the front desk with manual check-ins, creating significant revenue leakage. When congestion forced gates to lift, revenue potential vanished. Ownership sought a solution that would remove friction and unlock the true value of their parking assets.

The solution

Building on the proven success at sister property La Cantera Resort & Spa (now Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa), the development team expanded its partnership with Metropolis to deploy our Computer Vision-powered Recognition Platform.

The transformation was fast, seamless and done in 30 days, from signed contract to go-live. Metropolis integrated our Vision technology with the resort’s existing gates, turning the property’s static infrastructure into a responsive environment and eliminating administrative burdens on the front desk.

The results

By moving from repetition to recognition, Hyatt Regency Lost Pines saw an immediate and dramatic shift in both operational efficiency and financial performance.
